The Latvia Residence by Investment Program allows eligible investors to apply for temporary residency through an investment in a qualifying Latvian company, starting from EUR 50,000 plus applicable fees. From 15 September 2026, real estate purchases and bank deposits no longer qualify for new applications under these routes. Latvia became a member of the European Union in 2004 and subsequently joined the Schengen Area in 2007.

At this stage, the qualifying company investment is completed. Proof of investment and sufficient financial means to support the applicant in Latvia must be submitted.

Receive your residence permit upon approval.
Only once approved will the Government fee be payable.
Visit Latvia in person within three months to collect your temporary residence permit in the form of an ID card.
